Founded in 1968 in Oklahoma by Roy Whittington, Lil’ Hustler Tackle Co.® began with a simple yet ambitious goal: to deliver high-quality, American-made fishing lures to dedicated anglers. Roy’s passion for fishing and commitment to excellence led him to start his journey in his own home, crafting lures that would set new standards in the industry. For over thirty years, Roy built Lil’ Hustler with an unwavering dedication to quality and performance.

In June 2000, we acquired Lil' Hustler Tackle Co. to carry forward Roy's vision of bringing premium, American-made lures to the market. Staying true to his legacy, we have since introduced the Escort Tournament Series Spinnerbait, a standout in the fishing world. This fish-head-style bait features a multi-layered, lifelike finish, molded eyes, high-quality ball-bearing swivel, premium skirts, and gold, silver, copper, or custom-painted blades, all paired with top-grade hooks.

Our dedication to innovation extends beyond spinnerbaits. The Lil’ Hustler Pro Model Jig has gained a trusted place in tackle boxes everywhere, thanks to its unique head design, incredible action, and easy hook setting. For anglers facing finicky fish, we offer the Lil’ Jiggle Finesse Jig—a smaller, precision jig designed for subtle presentations. And for those seeking a new approach, the Lil’ Hustler Swim Jig provides an eye-catching presentation that big fish can’t resist.

In 2003, we expanded our line with “The THUMPER” buzzbait, featuring a 3-inch blade for a slower roll and a unique vibration. Adding to the buzzbait collection, the Okie Twister brings counter-rotating blades, while the Viper combines four blades for an intense, noise-making presentation.

Our success in the bass fishing world led us to enter the musky market in 2005. We launched a musky-sized Escort Spinnerbait with an 8/0 premium hook in sizes 1 oz, 1¼ oz, and 1½ oz.
